The arrival of spring brings a palpable sensation of light hearted joy. The air still hangs with the remaining chills of winter but glorious sunshine glows down, warming those blooms brave enough to show their faces early. In the Oxford Botanical gardens a treasure trove of beauty can be found in spring flowers, and these borders of tulips confirm that with the constant stream of admirers. I will always attempt to capture the colours of flowers and try to make them shine for you, the viewer, as it’s difficult not to smile when in the presence of a floral display.
