Magic in University Parks

Strolling around Oxford is delightful any time of year but I was blown away by the glorious colours of Autumn. The first year we lived there, we arrived in Autumn in COVID lockdown, so we took the opportunity to roam the usually busy streets and parks, absorbing the beauty. Discovering University Parks was a real treat. Discovering it in autumn even more special. Those who have visited Oxford or had the luxury of living or studying there will understand this statement about University Parks.I happened upon it at sunset late one afternoon late afternoon and this painting is the result of that encounter.
